We are an award winning legal charity working for victims of trafficking and labour exploitation in housing, immigration and compensation law. Our casework varies from first tier tribunals to the Supreme Court.
Volunteer Communications Officer
ATLEU is seeking a volunteer Communications Officer to work with our Marketing Project Manager for one to two days a week. The role is flexible and we will consider home working depending on the experience of the candidate.
Duties would include liaising with team and external legal practitioners to commission blog content for our online training resource ATHUB, editing and publishing blogs on the site, maintaining a publication timetable and identifying gaps, drafting email communications to ATHUB subscribers, general communications support such as updating the website and social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) and potentially some fundraising support.
We can pay actual travel expenses of up to £10 per day and are looking for a volunteer to start in mid to late October if possible.

Volunteer Operations Assistant
ATLEU is seeking a volunteer Operations Assistant to work with our Head of Operations on Fridays 10 am - 4 pm in our London office.
As a volunteer Operations Assistant, you would hold a defined role and complete certain regular tasks to help the charity to run smoothly. These tasks are all under the banner of charity operations and finance. Examples would be preparing files for archive and assisting with the weekly finance check.
The volunteer Operations Assistant is needed on Fridays 10am - 4pm and it is hoped they can commit to one year of volunteering. We can pay actual travel expenses of up to £10 per day and are looking for a volunteer to start in October if possible.

Volunteer Lawyer’s Assistant
ATLEU is seeking five volunteer Lawyer’s Assistants to work with our solicitors on their casework.
As one of our volunteers, you would have the opportunity to support our casework by assisting our lawyers in all aspects of case management including drafting witness statements, client meetings, liaising with support providers and local authorities, research, preparing legal bundles, filing and attending at court and tribunal. You would also help with reception and message taking, data entry and other general office duties.
Each volunteer is expected to commit to two days per week for six months. You will be given a thorough induction and training, as well as learning opportunities throughout your volunteering. We also run a mentor scheme for all volunteers and we can pay actual travel expenses of up to £10 a day.
The next cohort of volunteers will start in the week beginning 6 May 2019.
