We’re hosting a benefit concert featuring the Consone Quartet on Thursday 19 September at Temple Church to help raise funds for our work with victims of trafficking.

Formed at the Royal College of Music in London, the Consone Quartet is dedicated to exploring Classical and Early Romantic repertoire on period instruments. Winner of the 2016 Royal Over-Seas League Ensemble Prize in London, Consone has also just been announced as a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist 2019-21.

Consone have generously agreed to donate their performance to support our work. Blackstone Chambers are also sponsoring this event as part of their ongoing work to combat modern slavery in the UK.

ATLEU works with victims of trafficking in the UK to ensure that they receive the help they need to rebuild their lives.

Thanks to the generosity of Consone and Blackstone, all proceeds from the ticket sales will go directly to help victims of trafficking.

On the evening, Consone will be playing:

  • Haydn - String Quartet in D Major, Op.20 No.4 (25')

  • Schumann - String Quartet No.2 in F major, Op.41 (25’)

Doors open at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start and the concert will end by 9pm. Temple Church is at Temple, London, EC4Y 7BB.
