Advice line
We offer free advice for lawyers, advocates and support providers working with victims of trafficking and modern slavery across England and Wales. We will assist with advice queries on behalf of survivors. We will also advise on survivors' cases that we are unable to take on or discuss potential referrals into the National Referral Mechanism (NRM).
To request advice email advice@atleu.org.uk
Please provide:
Your name, contact number and email
Brief details of the advice request
Area of law, if known.
Please do not send documents with your advice request.
We try to answer all advice requests, either by email or telephone, during the following times:
Immigration - Thursdays 11:00 - 13:00
Compensation - Thursdays 11:00 - 13:00
Housing and support - Thursdays 14:30 - 16:30 (1st and 3rd Thursday of the month only)
If we receive a high volume of enquiries we may not be able to reply within the advice line times but will do our best to reply as soon as possible.
If you need urgent housing advice outside our advice line times, we suggest contacting other services:
NHAS has a housing advice service for people working with individuals, for example if you work for a local authority or voluntary agency
ASAP runs an advice line for asylum support and accommodation problems
The people you work with could also contact Shelter.
