New webinar on interviewing trafficked children

Best Practice Interviewing Children, is a new webinar delivered by our very own Kalvir Kaur, a leading expert in the field of immigration, asylum and human rights. Kalvir has over 15 years’ experience of working with children who have been trafficked.

In this webinar, produced by ECPAT, she explains the approach that she has developed over the years to successfully interview children who find themselves in this vulnerable situation.

The webinar will take place on Thursday 28 September 2017 at 11am (GMT). To register click here.

Following the webinar, attendees will be sent details of a second video workshop on Age Assessment Law and Practice for Child Victims of Trafficking, delivered by Shu Shin Luh, a barrister whose practice has a strong human rights and anti-discrimination focus.

This webinar serves as a guide for all legal professionals and guardians who work with separated children seeking asylum and child victims of trafficking whose age might be assessed and/or disputed in various legal contexts.

If you can't watch the webinar live, a recording of both sessions will be available after they have been delivered on the Virtual College website.
