Thank you for your support over the last 10 years!

Our tenth anniversary celebration last month was an inspiring evening of hope and determination, and a chance to reflect on how the past decade can inform our fight for justice in the future.

Our Lived Experience Group shared their powerful stories on the impact that family separation and the asylum backlog has had on their lives, as well their thoughts on how systems could be improved.

Lord McColl opened the evening with words of encouragement for our sector and shared his experience of bringing the Modern Slavery Act into being.

Our Director, Victoria Marks, told the story of our client Mrs P, whose case has been ongoing since we began, to show our determination to improve protections for survivors, no matter how long it takes. Her courage to change the law to stop other women from being exploited as she was, is truly humbling.

Finally we closed the evening with our Chair, Pragna Patel, who spoke movingly about the need to support organisations like ours, who step in to protect the rights of the most vulnerable, when the state fails to meet its obligations.

If you've not already done so, it’s not too late to donate to our tenth anniversary appeal, helping ATLEU reach more women, children, and men trapped in slavery and exploitation in the UK.

Thank you so much again for all of your support over the past 10 years. We hope you will continue the journey with us into the next decade!
