ATLEU's Emmy Gibbs will be contributing to a panel discussion on 'The Impact of Tying Domestic Workers to Employers - One Year On'. The discussion will take place on 7th May 2013 from 5.30 – 7.30pm in the Grand Committee Room, House of Commons and will be hosted by Fiona MacTaggart MP.
ATLEU's Jamila Duncan-Bosu gave the Haldane Society Lecture on 14 March 2013. She spoke about assisting claimants to obtain compensation for domestic servitude in the employment tribunal.

ATLEU's Jamila Duncan-Bosu contributed to a panel discussion on 17th March 2013 held to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the union Justice for Domestic Workers (J4DW) and International Women's Day. Jamila spoke about how to enforce your employment rights in the aftermath of the legal aid cuts and the changes to the migrant domestic worker visa.

The event was part of the One Billion Rising Campaign which aims to end violence against women. The 'Putting the Heart back into Art' event brought together activists, community organisers, political thinkers, commentators, campaigners and professionals. Emily-Anna Gibbs attended on behalf of ATLEU to raise public awareness of the assistance that ATLEU provides to victims of trafficking to help them obtain safety, recovery and redress.
